TermSync Software Developer – Summer Student Internship
Who We Are
TermSync is an independent division of Esker Inc. located in Madison, Wisconsin. We’re a small company that is building a web platform that’s revolutionizing the sometimes-stodgy world of business-to-business communications. Our platform is currently being used by over 500,000 businesses of all sizes. We are seeking a Software Developer to join our growing team in Madison, Wisconsin.
What We’ve Got
Our platform is built in Ruby on Rails, backed by MySQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Resque, and ElasticSearch, housed at Amazon, and served to our clients using HTML5 with a healthy dose of jQuery. We’ve got a number of interesting challenges coming up in the near future, many of which involve scaling our software to meet the needs of our ever growing list of larger and larger clients.
What We Need
We’re looking for a talented student who loves writing code. Someone who knows their limitations, and is always looking for a better way. We want someone with the communications skills to work as part of a team. Someone who smiles when they show us the things they’ve built. Someone who wants to learn more about what it means to develop software as part of a team. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or related field.
